Blue by Alain Ducasse
French Fine Dining · Riverside · 1F
Blue by Alain Ducasse is not a rooftop, and it does not need to be. Alain Ducasse’s first restaurant in Thailand sits on the first floor of ICONLUXE, the luxury wing of ICONSIAM, and its dining room looks straight across the Chao Phraya through floor-to-ceiling glass, with State Tower and the Silom skyline lined up on the far bank.
It won its first Michelin star in the guide’s 2021 edition and holds one star in both the MICHELIN Guide Thailand 2025 and the 2026 edition.
The Room
Paris studio Jouin Manku designed the space in blues, creams and warm wood. You walk in past a lounge into a curved dining room under a sculpted wooden ceiling, and the river fills every window. After dark, the lights of the far bank take over the glass.
For a private occasion, two rooms overlook the river. The Bronze Room seats up to six with a ฿55,000++ minimum spend. The Pink Room seats eight to ten with a ฿75,000++ minimum.
What to Order
Executive Chef Evens López, appointed in 2025, cooks contemporary French food built on seasonal produce. Executive Pastry Chef Christophe Grilo was named Tatler Thailand’s Best Pastry Chef for 2026, so leave room for dessert.
The menu changes with the seasons. The summer 2026 card included Brittany blue lobster with caviar, a rainbow courgette galette with Comté, poached John Dory and dry-aged pigeon. Pricing is set by length: Découverte at three courses for ฿4,500, Voyage at five for ฿6,500 and the seven-course Signature at ฿8,500, all plus VAT and service charge.
The kitchen adapts to most allergies and dietary needs, but there is no vegan menu.

Charoen Nakhon station on the Gold Line connects directly to ICONSIAM. By river, boats cross from Sathorn Pier, next to BTS Saphan Taksin. Several Chao Phraya dinner cruises also board at the ICONSIAM piers outside.
For something more casual on the same bank, Bianca Iconsiam and Fallabella River Front sit side by side on ICONSIAM’s sixth floor. The full Riverside page has the rest of the Rooftops along the river.
